ABOUT ME

My name is Ian and I came to Beijing in early 2019 to work at Harrow International School.  I've travelled quite a lot and have always been interested in design and cartography skills.

I've previously written an expat guidebook for a city in Thailand where I lived from 2013-2018, and it was here that I started to really develop my mapping and design skills.

Setting about to map a 20m+ city was quite a task, but it really awakened my interest in exploring not only Beijing further, but in exploring out into other towns and cities around the world.

As part of the fun side of Beijing, I thought I'd tinker with some classics, and the 北京OPOLY idea was born, along with it's challenging offshoot - the 北京OPOLY Pub Crawl board...
